Perennial Produce has been in the watermelon business for over 20 years and owned by Kevin Hughes. After growing incredible seedless watermelons for over 25 years and working with Kevin Hughes as his distributor, Bob Ramming of Hinton, Oklahoma decided to retire and consult on watermelon production. Kevin, having close ties to the Hinton area through his wife, decided to keep the Sugar Creek Brand alive. Kevin purchased the closed Oney/Albert, OK peanut coop and the 140 acres behind. Kevin works with daughter Shaylee, his father in law, Bruce Price and longtime friend Bob Ramming to grow the fabulous seedless watermelons that are distributed across the state for over 55 school districts on the farm to school statewide program. His melons are highly sought after across the United States for their flavor and freshness.
